Tapped In

In 2023 I worked with the experimental curatorial collective Tapped In to produce a varied series of exhibitions and shows at The Brewery Tap Project Space in Folkestone, Kent as part of Last Friday’s, a monthly event held on the last Friday of every month in Folkestone’s Creative Quarter.

Tapped In events included: Grounded - a ‘no plinths’ fringe art exhibition inspired by the Dawn exhibition at the Herbert Read Gallery in Canterbury. Collectively Tapped - an exhibition of our own work and private party with art themed games and collective art making session. Art Gig - a live music event in collaboration with the musical collective Gramn with an open call and exhibition of artwork inspired by their music, this was included in Folkestone’s Music in May Festival and was a sell outshow. Look Positive – a photography exhibition in collaboration with Positive View Foundation and Folkestone College photography students. DaPunk – A Dada Punk Weekend Exhibition and Program of Events, including an art exhibition, a clothes upcycling workshop with activist group a:dress Fashion, a dada collage workshop, a punk zine library and a curated alternative art and zines market.
